Extraordinary Sculpted Armchair in the style of Carlo De Carli

About the Item

Chair by unknown maker. 29" tall, 26" wide and 32" deep. Seat graduates from 16.5 in front to 14.5 at rear. Wood unknown. Reupholstered in Blue Velour. Photo of chair as it was originally in orange is included within the listing. Similar side construction seen on Carlo De Carli works. Likely produced 1940's. Zig Zag springs, hog hair, batting and burlap. Reupholstered and batting added. Arms graduate from 21.5 at front to 19.5" at rear. This lounge chair is unique. Every facet is sculpted and rounded; coupled with the protruding stretchers makes a masculine statement. The frame have been restored and is in pristine condition and finished with lacquer.
