About the Item
These handsome carved mahogany library or ‘Gainsborough’ armchairs have a gently curving back and shaped arms which have acanthus leaf carved scrolled handles and leaf carved moulded supports. The padded seats are raised on moulded cabriole legs decorated with carved cabochons, leaves and scrolls and stands on tightly scrolled toes. Upholstered in clients own material.
