About the Item

Lennart Bender for Ulferts AB, lounge chair model 'Krokus', Sweden, 1960s. The designer was clearly inspired by a flower and translated the design into a very cool and sleek chair. It's the perfect fun element to light up any space or project. It falls under the space age style, but it really is just a cool, groovy modern modern-looking chair. The ‘Krokus’ model has a rather peculiar shape that immediately catches the eye. The white oval-bodied design is reminiscent of the body of an iris “krokus” flower. This underlines the dynamic and playful form of the chair, mirroring nature itself and emphasising Scandinavia’s appreciation for nature. The cushioned seat and rounded backrest offer low sitting and a raised profile, balancing comfort and functionality. In the original checkered fabric with signs of use
