Pair Modernist High Back Leather Chairs
About the Item
A handsome pair of slipper lounge chairs, circa 1960's. Designed with a minimalist approach each chair with perfect proportion and scale for ease and comfort. Showcases a high back and an armless silhouette, features a slightly curved back that envelops and hugs the sitter. The tight back is capped with a wooden top rail, with sinuously flowing slim armrests and detailed piping along the seat and outer edge make the transition from the top to the bottom sleek and smooth. The boxed seat cushion is raised over wood rail and tall tapering front legs. Completely restored: the wooden details have been refinished in a deep brown color stain finish and reupholstered in a genuine leather that never goes out of style. These chairs are designed for today's new traditionalists who seek an updated look yet retain a connection to the past. These chairs will blend masterfully in your bedroom and living room. Their classic form can be used in a wide range of interiors, from traditional to ultra modern.
