Pair of cantilever dining chairs, leather, chrome-plated steel, The Netherlands, 1960s
Streamlined pair of cantilever chairs, a design that originates from the Bauhaus Movement. The frame is comprised of a cantilevered tubular frame, giving it a sleek appearance. The patinated cognac leather is secured to the frame which forms the backrest and the seat. The design strongly reminds of the 'MR' chair by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe from 1927.
Kindly note that these chairs are in used condition and show signs of wear and use common for their age, such as patinated leather and some irregularities in the stitching. Please reach out to our design specialists for further information.
