Pierre Jeanneret, French Mid-Century Modern, Bridge Chairs, Chandigarh c. 1960s Pair of Pierre Jeanneret Upholstered Bridge chairs, Mid-Century Modern, Model PJ-SI-42-A. Chic pair of Jeanneret upholstered lounge chairs having a unique double profiled flat leg assembly which flanks two rolled upholstered arms. This is an iconic Pierre Jeanneret design. Provenance: Administrative buildings of Chandigarh, India. High Court. Chandigarh housing. We can offer pre-restoration images and a certificate of authenticity. This pair can be split if need be. Suede, Teak France, India, 1960s Other French mid-century designers include Jean Royere, Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Chapo, Pierre Paulin, Jean Prouve, Serge Mouille, Jean Nouvel, etc. Each with markings indicating provenance - These are directly from Chandigarh, India. These chairs have been lightly washed and polished. The upholstery and springs are brand new off-white suede. The wear to the wood and strong patina is an indication of age - we ensure to preserve the patina as best as possible. Dimensions vary slightly due to the handmade nature of this design.
