Pierre Paulin "Orange Slice" Lounge Chair for Artifort, 1960s

About the Item

Lounge chair designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort manufacture, 1960s period, Holland. The model of the chair is called “Orange Slice" and it's a high version of it. The inspiration for this design Pierre Paulin simply got it from peeling the orange and constructed minimalistic and beautiful design. Comfortable lounge chair consists in two pieces connected on a metal frame. The seating and back- rest piece are upholstered in black wool furniture fabric and still is in a good condition.
