Set of 3 "Reno" lounge chairs by Rito Valla for I.P.E., Italy, circa 1965
A versatile and rare set of three "Reno" lounge chairs, designed by Rito Valla for I.P.E., Bologna, around 1965.
These sculptural seats feature a metal frame and are upholstered in brown-toned faux leather, embodying the sleek aesthetic and functional experimentation of mid-century Italian design.
Ingeniously designed, the chairs can be used in two configurations, as lounge chairs with an inclined backrest, or as low stools when the backrest is laid flat, a reflection of Valla’s interest in adaptable, user-centered forms.
Each piece retains its original manufacturer’s label.
