Yv takes its shape from the nature — like a branching structure or part root system. Its form suggests both shelter and wildness, a sculptural gesture that seems to have grown rather than been built. Yv Chair invites pause — a place to lean back, slow down, and reconnect with oneself.

Objects are signed on hand casted tin plates.
Occupying the liminal space between art and design, the multidisciplinary atelier of Lucas and Tyra Morten is a small scale artist studio presenting handmade objects and artworks in limited editions. What permeates the experience of their work is their devotion to the impermanence of things. Far from the increasingly technological world where more efficient production lines are created with greater precision, they instead explore the fragility that comes with everything that is transitory. Their works are therefore imbued with an experiential and existential quality that comes with a touch of the artists hands.

Lucas Morten
Lucas Morten is a 25-year old artist from the Swedish west coast where he currently also has his atelier. Morten is a self-taught maker, though he does continue a family tradition of creativity. Having moved back to Sweden from New York, Morten had to find a new place to live and to furnish it, which turned out to be a challenge considering his budget and aesthetic.
