Mid-Century Modern Abbe Stool Made in Portugal by Ottiu

About the Item

Most known for her extravagant outfits for the time and a sultry style of performing, Abbe Lane was a famous American actress and singer. Because of Abbe’s work in Europe, she was known first as an actress and after as recognized as a singer and dancer. She began her singing career on Broadway, portrayed Bobo in “Oh Captain!”. Ottiu designers translated her talent into the design, conceiving the Mid-Century Modern Abbe Stool. Upholstered in velvet, this curved ottoman is as versatile as it is glamorous. The abbe stool can be used as stool or footstool, combining with some of Ottiu’s elegant armchairs.
