1950's Danish Teak Rocking Chair in Terra Cotta Leather by Moreddi
About the Item
Our team restored this Danish solid teak gem from top to bottom. Made by Moreddi, the vintage 1950s Mid-Century Modern rocker truly looks better than new with it's sexy, tailored 4-button tufted seat and back cushions. The FMV restoration team spared no expense, and opted for a beautiful, genuine full grain leather than can best be described as dusty-brick. The texture is smooth with a light pebble and satin sheen. Underneath you have the support from all new webbing.
Add timeless charm and warm character to your space with this beautifully crafted vintage teak rocking chair. A true mid-century classic, this piece features clean lines, a gently curved silhouette, and the rich, golden-brown hues that only aged teak can offer.
Expertly constructed from solid teak wood, this chair showcases the craftsmanship and design sensibilities of the era. New, dense foam provides comfort and support, while the smooth gliding motion brings a sense of calm and relaxation to any room. Perfect for a cozy reading nook, nursery, or statement piece in your living space, this rocking chair blends effortlessly with modern, boho, Scandinavian, or retro interiors.

Tulip Group Lounge Chairs in Rosewood by K M Wilkins for G-Plan of England
By Thonet, G Plan Furniture, Percival Lafer, Charles and Ray Eames
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Matching sofa also available and sold separately (see last pic).
This incredible set was purchased new in Glasgow, Scotland in 1970. We acquired from the original owners who kept them in pristine condition. Designed by K.M. Wilkins for G-Plan of England, this line is appropriately named the "Tulip Group". Wilkins also designed the the well known Housemaster Chair, often misattributed to Ib Kofod Larsen. The "Tulip" design is demonstrated by the rosewood panels which are molded into curves that mimic a blossoming flower. Offered almost exclusively in teak, this rosewood set is truly a rare find. The rich, amber-red panels are perfectly complimented by the chrome hardware and velvet fabric. The luxuriously soft velvet is in amazing condition. The color is difficult to describe, but in our opinion, it's a cross between olive-green and taupe-brown. Of course the refraction of light on velvet can magnify or minimize the tones and highlights depending on the angle and environment.
Both chairs hover on their original Magnum Orbit chrome...

By Bramin Mobler, Frank Reenskaug
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Whimsical and comfortable Frank Reenskaug spindle back rocking chair in gorgeous old growth teak with vinyl cushion. Striking geometry and bold trompe l'oeil joinery really set this form apart from your typical rocker. Reenskaug made a daring and deliberate departure from the standard structure of rocking chairs, synthesizing elements from the canon of Danish design, as well as from the traditional Windsor "stick furniture...
