About the Item
An Isabella rocking chair in black lacquer and with a perfectly matching checked fabric cover for the seat and head cushions. The wooden frame is in very good condition with slight signs of wear on the corners of the runners and one corner brace. The checked fabric of the cushions shows hardly any signs of wear and is brightly colored. All connections are solid.
Gemla Fabrikers is the oldest furniture manufacturer in Sweden and places great emphasis on traditional craftsmanship and sustainability in its furniture. The Isabella rocking chair was designed in the 1960s by the Swedish designer Karl-Axel Adolfsson.
