Finn Juhl Rare Settee / Couch c 1947

About the Item

Rare sofa, similar to the Poet Sofa, designed for a "Bachelor's Apartment" for the "Tidens Møbler 1947" exhibition, Copenhagen by Finn Juhl. During this exhibition Finn Juhl presented a proposition for a bachelor’s apartment, which won an award at the exhibition and included the present sofa model. Produced by Berg & Nielsen, Aarhus, Denmark. One of three examples known to exist. This example has been expertly reupholstered.
