Genuine McGuire organic modern Gondola settee or bench crafted from bamboo rattan poles by McGuire. Designed by Elinor McGuire and inspired by Venetian gondolas in Italy. The frame has gracefully curved ends with X motifs in the back. The exposed joints are lashed together with leather rawhide laces. The seat is topped with a conforming seat cushion with a foliate design over a dramatic background. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Makers plaque on bottom of settee. Lovely profile from any angle grounded in natural materials.
