1950s Set of Six Borge Mogensen No. 155 Dining Chairs for Soborg Mobler in Teak

About the Item

This is a set of six Model No. 155 Dining Chairs, designed by Danish designer Borge Mogensen for Soborg Mobelfabrik in 1950. This particular set dates to the 1950s. The chairs are constructed with frames of solid teak which have teak veneer surfaces. Each chair measures 18.5 inches deep, 19.75 inches wide, and 30.25 inches high. They have a seat height of 16.75 inches. There is some veneer damage underneath some of the seats, and there are some scuffs on the legs of the pieces. There is also evidence of a repaired crack on one chair, and the repair was properly dated and marked on the underside. They present beautifully and are, overall, in good condition. Please see photos.
