About the Item

An excellent postmodern dining, side or accent chair designed by Claudio Nardi, an extraordinarily accomplished Italian, architect, interior designer, and industrial designer, and produced Zeus Noto in Italy in the late 1980s . With gray powder-coated steel frame and black molded polyurethane seat (often mistaken for rubber), this chair perfectly capture Zeus' unique approach to postmodern design: clean and simple lines with a less colorful, less maximalist palette than the Memphis group's work in Milan at the same time. High-quality and perfectly balanced construction that is durable, functional, and timelessly aesthetically pleasing. In very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. Marked on underside. 21” x 21” x 32”.
