About the Item

This is an original Skeleton Chair, designed in 1993 by Michael Aram for his ‘Flights of Fancy’ Collection. This particular example is quite special as it has a hand-etched signature, signifying it as an early production piece. The chair was handmade in cast and polished aluminum and stainless steel. Every chair undergoes a series of casting, filing, welding and oxidation techniques, and no two chairs will ever be exactly the same. The finish results from a specialized patination process that will not corrode and requires little upkeep. This chair measures 17 inches deep, 19 inches wide, and is 32 inches high. It has a seat height of 17.5 inches. The polished aluminum finish has some small spots. Overall, this chair is in very good vintage condition with light wear. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
