Lander Wicker Wood and Leather Side Chairs
About the Item
Lander was a furniture maker and store in Mexico city's fashionable Zona Rosa during the 60's and 70s. Few pieces still exist from an otherwise ample collection at the time. Unusual chairs, very hard to find. No marks or labels. Chairs are beautifully handcrafted in polished hardwood. The leather seat and straps shwo the original patina, but have been recently restored. the beautiful canning on the back of the chair is in excellent condition.
Our vintage pieces show the passage of time as we leave them in the condition in which they were found. As a consequence, signs of wear and patina should be expected. Please refer to images for condition details. You may contact us for any questions.

- Condition:Repaired: reinforcement of the leather straps on the seat. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. The chairs do show some wear and tear but in a beautiful way, consistent with their use. Overall the pieces feel cohesive and do not feel or look damaged. Just with the right patina.
