Brutalist chairs, maple, Europe, 1960s
Beautiful and naturalistic chairs made in Europe in the 1960s. The backrest of this piece consists of a large piece of maple wood. Another slab is used for the seat. This design shows a subtle cross-shape between the four sturdy legs made from smaller wood branches. This chair breathes a naturalistic atmosphere due to the properties of the wood and the simplistic way it is put together. The solid wood is of great quality and creates a warm and pleasant ambiance. This rustic design will come forward nicely in a relaxing surrounding, like a patio or a studio space.
