About the Item
Set of Four "Tre Archi" Chiavari Chairs made in the Mid-20th Century by Fratelli Levaggi. The workshop has practiced fine Italian craftsmanship for generations, constructing each chair by hand with woods from the Ligurian hinterland forests. The finely woven cane seat adds great strength to the elegant design.
This Chiavari design by Levaggi is an important development in Italian midcentury design that welds traditional and modern sensibilities.
These chairs are vintage. The cane is in incredible condition and the wood shows some beautiful signs of wear. There is minor structural damage to one of the frames that has been repaired.
