Low profile upholstered slipper chair from antique Persian rug or luxury petbed. This hand knotted wool late 19th century antique Persian Khorassan rug was converted into low profile slipper chair or perhaps it can be used as a luxury dog bed. It is a handcrafted and one-of-a-kind low-slung slipper chair or Oriental rug petbed designed for pampering your pet. Slipper chairs were popular in the early 18th century and used as seating in a woman's bedroom and then Billy Baldwin re-invented slipper chairs for living rooms in the 1950s. Whether used in a bedroom, living room, library, child's room, and placed in a small corner with a tiny side table or even used as a luxury petbed, this slipper chair is well-suited for a variety of styles. Perfect for dozing in the sunlight, regal relaxation, short snoozes and convenient catnaps. With timeless style, comfort and warmth, your pet deserves to get a luxurious nights sleep. Supported by wooden legs raised slightly off the ground, this designer pet bed is elevated for draft-free sleeping. Another benefit of this Persian rug dog bed is the wool fibers. The natural wool fibers absorb indoor air impurities making the air a little cleaner and safer. The antique Persian Khorassan rug features an all-over pattern composed of blooming palmettes, leafy tendrils, arabesque vines, and stylized flowers. Abrash. Desirable age wear. Hand knotted wool.
