About the Item
Made in the 1980s, this sofa was designed after popular works by design post-modern designers. While clearly inspired by these designs, the designer of this sofa took some initiative that improves the piece even more. They take the best features of successful sofas at the time, like the asymmetrical look and ample seating space and add some touches like the curve that wraps around the sofa slightly more and the open space beneath part of the seat. The changes serve to make the sofa more comfortable and to lighten the design even further. This example is also upholstered in mixed fabrics, a brown suede for the main body, and a handsome plaid for the seating surface and backrest. This fine texture adds a layer of visual contrast. It is a very comfortable sofa, one of the most comfortable we have. You'll love the look, comfort, and practicality of this piece.
In good vintage condition. Some signs of normal wear to the suede in the front, no structural issues. It does not need to be reupholstered, but our in-house professionals can certainly upholster it in whatever fabric you desire.
