On offer on this occasion is a superb, rare B&B Italia Maxalto “Charles CH228LS” Chaise Daybed Sofa dressed in a peerless, elegant chestnut-brown “Gamma 375” leather in a deep, dark-brown colour.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Antonio Citterio masterpiece, B&B Italia pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

This piece is in superb, beautifully-maintained condition and, showing light signs of the regular, residential employment it has seen, is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably considerate use afforded it in the past and, whilst showing signs of use (as you might expect), is as well-presented as could be hoped for a piece of this nature.

There are a number of light (and i mean light!) superficial blemishes across the seat and frame as is inevitable when considering the buttery-soft nature of the hide but, aside from this, it would comfortably meet the requirements of all but the perfectionist.
The dimensions of the chaise are H-73cm, W-230cm and D-97cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered seat-cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms.
