About the Item

This is a Prototype Sofa, designed by Richard Schultz Design in the 1970s. The design never made it to the production phase, making this a rather important piece. The sofa has a polished tubular steel frame and a sled style base. The seat is currently upholstered in what we believe to be the original fabric. This sofa measures 34.5 inches long, 55.5 inches wide, and is 30 inches high. It has a seat height of 17 inches. The base of the sofa is in terrific shape, having some scuffs and scratches. The fabric is worn through in some spots, and is heavily faded. The cushions remain in good condition, but reupholstery is recommended. Overall, this sofa is in good condition. Please see photos.
