About the Item
Sofa, velvet, plastic, Italy, 1970s
Eccentric sofa of Italian origin. The design reminds of the anatomy of the flower with its inward-facing tufted lines and a stuffed middle section. The whole unit is executed in a soft khaki green velvet. The black platform shows subtle curves. The designer truly wanted to impress the viewer with a monumental, voluminous design.
Please note that this item is in used condition with some signs of age and use, including stains on the upholstery. The back shows a different fabric. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
