Pine sofa Bench by David Rosén Model Berga, Nordiska Kompaniet, Sweden 1940s A rare demountable pinewood sofa - bench designed by David Rosén and produced and retailed by Nordiska Kompaniet, Sweden, circa the 1940s. David Rosén served as the head designer at Nordiska Kompaniet, preceded by Axel Einar Hjorth. Other designers working in similar functionalist styles include Pierre Chapo and Charlotte Perriand. This bench - sofa would be an eye-catching addition to any interior, such as a living room, family room, screening room or office.
