About the Item

This understated sofa is an iconic example of Scandinavian design from the 1950s. Organic and sculptural, this sofa is anything but minimalistic. Equipped with conical-shaped feet that gradually diverge, give the unit a light appearance. The piece has beautifully curved yet sharp rounded edges. The tufted back forms an elegant curve which smoothly runs over into the armrests. The armrests are finished with a nice wooden detail. The frame is upholstered in a light green color fabric and the seat is finished with a checkered pattern of dark green lines.
Please note that the fabric of this piece shows signs of wear and use. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
