"Simone" Sofa designed by Dino Gavina for Studio Simon in the 1970s.
Original upholstery in Blu velvet, marked on the underside and a structure in glossy black polyester-lacquered wood.
SIMON was founded in 1968 from the collaboration between Dino Gavina and Maria Simoncini, together with some of the most prominent figures in modern architecture and art. This entrepreneurial venture brought together all the cultural experiences and production insights that gave life to a cult collection for design enthusiasts. Today, these furnishings—symbols of an industrial activity that successfully became a vehicle for cultural promotion—are considered design classics, as they embody timeless values that continue to inspire and influence.
