Morris Blackman (American, b 1930); Morris Blackman is an American artist who lives and works in Philadelphia PA. He graduated from The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) in 1959, where he twice received the Cresson European Traveling Scholarship as well as three Mural Prizes, the Lux Graphic Prize and the Figure Drawing Prize. Blackman had one-man shows at PAFA and DeMena Gallery NY as well as participating in group shows at Reese Palley Gallery NJ, Fontana Gallery PA, Studio 7 NJ, Carlsson Gallery NY and Margaret Locks Gallery PA.
