Early 19th Century Regency Period Rosewood Leather Stool

About the Item

This early 19th-century Regency period rosewood stool is a charming example of elegant craftsmanship. Its excellent colour and patina speak to its well-preserved condition and the quality of the materials used. The stool features a rectangular, deep-buttoned beige leather seat, adding both comfort and visual appeal. The moulded frieze seat frame and brass closing nails create a refined finish, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. Four elegant rosewood turned fluted legs and bobbin-turned cross stretchers with a central finial provide both stability and visual interest. Dating back to around 1825, the stool embodies the refined aesthetic of the Regency period in England. DIMENSIONS Height 41cm (16.1in) Width 48cm (18.9in) Depth 44cm (17.3in)
