Low stool, Ash Wood, Handmade in France

About the Item

This low stool is inspired by the tripod stools traditionally used in rural settings. The tinted rye straw comes to find refuge on the legs and the seat, winking at the straw marquetry and the wedge which can reinforce the tenon of the legs. Also suitable as a side table or small side table. The shade of the ash can vary depending on which part of the tree is used – lighter or darker. Manufactured and assembled by hand in the south of France. Wood species: Ash Dimensions: 27 x 27 x 39.5cm Technique: Traditional carpentry and manual rye straw assembly Finish: Matt varnish Place of manufacture: France, Languedoc Design: Sacha Parent Publisher: OROS Editions Care: To regularly clean or dust your furniture, we advise you to simply wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth and then dry with a dry soft cloth. Do not use cleaners containing chemicals, it may damage your piece.
