About the Item

Pele de Tigre Triplo Stool by Andre Teoman Studio Dimensions: W 70 x D 70 x H 45 cm Materials: Marble Introducing Triplo, a marble stool that challenges traditional perceptions of rigidity and weight. Crafted from marble, Triplo perfectly balances form and function to create a piece that is both visually stunning and highly practical. At first glance, Triplo appears to be a solid and weighty object, yet upon closer inspection, the intricate detailing reveal a softer, more fluid side to the marble. Triplo plays with the stiffness of marble and transforms it into something that looks light and fluffy, as if it is suspended in mid-air. This stool showcase the beauty and versatility of marble in a unique and captivating way. Its simple yet eye-catching design makes it a perfect addition to any modern interior, adding a touch of sophistication and elegance to your home decor. André Teoman born in Viana do Castelo, Portugal in 1989, was raised between Viana do Castelo and Istanbul. Teoman took design classes in Viana do Castelo. Is experience it the world of puppetry and theater also had an effect on his the love for the fantasy world. In 2012, he left his hometown for Porto to start working with several luxury design furniture brands such as Boca do Lobo and Koket, where he developed pieces like the Newton Dining Table, Piccadilly Cabinet or the Hypnotic Chandelier considered trends from many trendsetters. He also won the Young Design International 2014 Award by the Light + Building Messe Frankfurt Fair. By the end of 2014 he left to start a new adventure…. his own studio that started in the beginning of 2015. Making a difference at his hometown local artisans is now as important as to make meaningful projects. Preserve such craftsmanship is a mission and a desire to join their best craftsmanships with other great techniques that are being forgotten around the world. He creates his own world with wicked things and to turn them into a symbolization of distinctive taste and humor. Looking at emotion as one of his priorities the pieces have this strong emotional bond with the concept that make the user look twice and thing about it.

Domus Pompeii Efebo Stool by Roberto Sironi
By Roberto Sironi
Located in Pireaus-Athens, Greece
Rediscovered in 1748, after being buried for almost two millennia under a blanket of lava and ash following the eruption of Vesuvius, Pompeii redefines our relationship with the past through its generative potential between reality and imagination. Defined by Goethe “An incredible place, worthy of peaceful thoughts”, Pompeii has the power to transform inanimate archaeological material into narrative matter, merging past and present in a relationship of reciprocity and interaction. Exploring the site, today as then, it is possible to admire the interiors decorated with frescoes that reproduce architectural partitions or that tell stories of myths and divinities, in rooms set up with marble elements that the owner used to display his most precious objects. The Pompeian frescoes were made according to different techniques with colors obtained from earth and minerals such as cinnabar (Pompeian red), ochres (Pompeian yellow), by oxidation processes of metals as in the case of cerulean or by the pulverization of roots and animal bones as in case of greens and blacks. DOMUS POMPEII is a capsule collection of five side...
