About the Item

Unusual and rare adjustable Bauhaus style swivel chair produced in Czechia in the 1930s by Mücke-Melder. Tubular steel frame with seat and back in black lacquered wood. The back rest is adjustable in four different positions for a more comfortable sitting experience. And it sits on a swivel base. Would be perfect as an office chair. The high gloss black lacquered on the seat and back is possibly from a later renovation but is professionally made and looks very good. Marked with original metal plaque: Mücke-Melder, Früstat, CRS. Overall in a very good vintage condition with very light ware consistent with age and use.
