About the Item

Crafted from solid wood, this door is adorned with meticulously hand-carved bone flowers, each crowned with a brass bead at its center. These blossoms, reminiscent of embroidery on fine fabric, are framed within a three-dimensional lattice of bone strips, forming an exquisite diamond grid that creates a mesmerizing interplay of shapes. At every intersection of this intricate lattice, polished brass nodes punctuate the design, seamlessly integrating the warmth of gold with the soft, natural hues of bone. The result is a tactile, sculptural surface transforming the door into a piece of art. Rooted in a rich cultural heritage, this door is the creation by master artisans from Rajasthan who have been practicing bone inlay for generations. Each piece made at our workshop is a testament to a centuries-old craft, supporting local communities and preserving traditional skills at risk of disappearing. The bone used is sustainably sourced from animals that have perished due to natural causes. We do not use poly urethanes or chemicals varnishes on our products. Fully customizable to your specifications and design vision, the Splendor Door can be incorporated in a luxury residence, a boutique hotel, or a high-end commercial space, Size: 36" width x 2" depth x 72" height
