Large 17th Century Figural Carved Griffin Gothic Coffer or Blanket Chest

About the Item

Large Gothic coffer / bench, believed to date back to the 1600s. Item features ornate, hand-carved, detailing on the front panel, a very thick and solid carved wood lid and an attractive and desirable patina/weathering and wormholes to the wood from age. Very sturdy and can also be used as a three+ seater bench.
