Scandinavian Blue Marriage Chest

About the Item

Wonderful 19th Century Scandinavian blue painted marriage chest, with the owner's initials and dated 1874, the domed top with cleated ends, the dovetailed case with candle till box to the interior which also serves to keep the lid open when engaged, the front with floral wreath, retaining original wrought iron hardware and possessing the best color blue imaginable!
