""~!~** STRAIGHT **~!~** Baroque round-lidded chest, also known as a dome top chest, solid oak, with heavy fittings, around 1750. The chest is in a "refined for the home condition !" - all existing parts are original. This chest is made of solid oak in plank construction. The tapered body is joined together with a dovetail joint and wooden nails. The chest is fitted with wrought iron straps. . Forged drop handles are used for transportation. The chest can be used without a key (lock and key are no longer present). The rustic overall impression is characterized by its simple archaic form. ----- Barock Runddeckeltruhe, auch Buckeltruhe genannt, Eiche massiv, mit schwerem Beschlagwerk, um 1750. Die Truhe befindet sich in einem wohnfertigen Zustand - alle vorhandenen Teile sind original. Diese Truhe ist in Brettbauweise aus massiver Eiche gefertigt. Der konisch zulaufende Korpus ist mit einer Schwalbenschwanz Verbindung und Holznägeln zusammengefügt. Die Truhe ist mit schmiedeeisernen Bändern beschlagen. . Geschmiedete Fallgriffe dienen dem Transport. . Die Benutzung der Truhe ist ohne Schlüssel (Schloss und Schlüssel ist nicht mehr vorhanden) möglich. Der rustikale Gesamteindruck besticht durch seine schlichte archaische Form.
