Circa 1860 Napoleon III cabinet bookcase, French. Outset columns flank double glazed doors enclosing velvet lined shelves - 3 levels for books, accessories, etc. Burl walnut & ebony with extensive mixed wood inlays; gilt fluted & ebonized columns & moldings. Gilt brass mounts. 44 7/8" w., 14 5/8" d., 42 1/8" h.
