About the Item

Extraordinary modular bookcase designed by Angelo Mangiarotti, circa 1970 master of Italian design and architecture, famous for his research on formal balance and structural interlocking without mechanical joints. The bookcase consists of two imposing cylindrical uprights made of white Carrara marble, which serve as vertical supports, and shelves made of green Alpi marble with interlocking work. The gravity assembly, with no fasteners, represents the essence of the designer's design philosophy: solidity, harmony and geometric purity. A masterpiece that combines architectural rigor and material refinement, perfect for prestigious environments and collectors of signature design.
