Mid century Scandinavian birch open bookcase circa 1940.
Fine example of Swedish mid century craftsmanship. Central open bookcase aperture fitted with 2 fully adjustable shelves, flanked each side by doors beautifully quarter veneered in satin birch and fitted with ornate handles. Doors open to reveal a further 2 shelves in each cupboard. Raised on a shaped base very much in the art deco taste. Working locks and key.
This piece has been completed re-finished in our workshop and re-polished by hand. Minor restorations to woodwork. Ready for everyday use.
