A very good looking and well-made pair, extremely decorative and very rare to find a perfect matching pair. They are flamed mahogany as mentioned, these are what’s known as waterfall bookcases because they cascade in size from small to large top to bottom. The castors are period and just scream Regency Elegance and charm, the door panels are chamfered, you can see it when you look at the back of the doors In terms of condition, they are in lovely order throughout, there will be normal age and use related patina marks as you would expect from 200+ year old pieces, we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom.
