About the Item

Pair of satinwood crossbanded open breakfront waterfall bookcases of small proportions. In the George III Neoclassical style Each with ebonised and boxwood stringing and line decoration, the superstructure comprised of a waved galleried top above three long central tiers flanked by six short end tiers, over one long central and two short mahogany lined frieze drawers, with two central open tiers below, flanked by two oval panelled doors enclosing a shelf, on square tapering supports terminating in brass cappings and castors.
