Two Complete Sets of Elbert Hubbert 1st Edition Books with ROYCROFT BOOKSTAND

About the Item

This is a collection of books written by Elbert Green Hubbard (June 19, 1856 – May 7, 1915). Hubbard was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher. These are first editions. In fact, they are a “Memorial Edition” with a full page in the front dedicating the set to the buyer, in this case Allen I. Berg. There are a total 28 books in two collections: “Little Journeys” and “Selected Writings.” The books are nearly like new with tight bindings, sharp corners, and no marks other than a pencil mark in the front from a book dealer. All the slip covers are present and complete (there are one or two that have small tears.). All books were made by (or printed for…) Roycroft. The stand is a beautiful “Little Journeys” bookstand made by Roycroft. The finish is original with a great selection of quarter-sawn oak. The color on the bookstand is great with no overcoat. It's very sturdy and strong. The stand is meant to be collapsible. Unless you instruct otherwise, we'll collapse it and send you specific instructions to re-assemble it. SIZE Height - 26 inches Width - 26 inches Depth - 15 inches The feet are 15 inches wide. You can use books up to 8 3/4 in tall. We will try to ship this piece either directly to your home (in Northeast US) or via freight. If by freight, it will be delivered to a freight terminal near you, where you must then pick it up. Unless the piece is delivered directly to your home, it must be picked up at the freight terminal near you. We will send you contact information for the terminal, along with documents showing the tracking number. We pack well, and use good large containers filled with foam to the top of the container. Delivery with freight takes around 7 days. W5019
