Walnut bookcase, Italy 1955
About the Item
4-post bookcase in oak and walnut, Italy 1955. Only surviving example of a furniture set created for Italy's first apartment hotel in Ventimiglia. Brass slides are embedded in the blond oak portico uprights, two solid brass pads allow adjustment to the floor, a third allows attachment to the ceiling. The 2 drawer units, the retractable desk and the 6 shelves are in walnut. The height and arrangement of the elements can be adjusted as desired.
