Crafted in France circa 1970, and built of walnut, the cabinet stands on a thick plinth base. The piece features two arched paneled doors decorated with carved floral motifs in the corners, and flanked with small rectangular doors on both sides with decorative double hinges. Opening the side doors and center double doors of the cabinet, it reveals a light blue painted interior with two shelves for ultimate storage. The top with rounded corners is also built of walnut over two small frieze cutlery drawers dressed with iron pulls, and embellished with carved geometric decor. The narrow Louis XIV style buffet is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina. Versatile, it could also be used in a hallway, a bedroom, or converted into a vanity cabinet with the addition of a sink.
