French 19th Century Pine Buffet with Two Doors and Carved Ogee Bracket Feet

About the Item

A French pine buffet from the 19th century, with two doors, carved ogee bracket feet, white pulls and nice patina. Created in France during the 19th century, this pine buffet features a rectangular top with beveled edges, sitting above two simple doors. These doors are adorned with recessed panels surrounded by thin molding, and are fitted with petite white pulls. They open to reveal an unfinished interior presenting shelves offering convenient storage opportunities. The buffet is raised on ogee bracket feet whose sinuous lines offer a beautiful contrast to the piece's general linearity. The sides are sans décor and the back is simply planked and, of course, unfinished. With its clean lines, warm color and nice patina, this French pine buffet from the 19th century will make for a charming addition to any home, particularly placed in a living room or dining room where it will bring a touch of authenticity.
