French Provincial 19th Century Grand Louis XV Style Buffet
About the Item
French Provincial 19th Century grande Louis XV style buffet/enfilade in walnut. Unusual large size.
Hand-crafted in France in the mid-20th century with excellent quality and beautiful patina. Six locking cabinet doors, matching steel escutcheons and hinges, three original keys included, shelves and faced with exquisitely hand carved doors. Supporting this large piece are cabriole legs, ending in whorl feet. Different but unique, piece is also supported in the middle by two Louis XVI style feet. Exceptional craftsmanship using pegged and mortise and tenon construction. Top of piece inset with three pieces of matching walnut.
