18th Century German Baroque Cabinet

An elegant German cabinet from the early 18th century, circa 1720, crafted from a combination of fine woods including walnut, olive, ebony, and cherry. This piece exemplifies the craftsmanship of the Baroque period, featuring a complex structure and exquisite decoration. Upper Section: The upper section of the cabinet includes eight large side drawers, which can be automatically locked by activating two levers hidden inside the central compartment. This compartment is secured by a door that locks with a key. Additionally, there are four smaller drawers in the top section, providing extra storage space. Middle Section: The middle section features a fold-down panel that reveals a charming desk decorated with red leather. The edge of the desk is adorned with a gilded border and four fleur-de-lis in the corners, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the piece. Lower Section: The lower part of the cabinet contains four large drawers, all equipped with locks, ensuring the security and protection of stored items.
