About the Item

This 1930s Italian-made bar cabinet, in the style or Gaetano and Osvaldo Borsani, is distinguished by its clean and rational lines, an expression of the sober and functional design typical of the period. Made of wood and briarwood, the cabinet presents a harmonious balance between the refinement of materials and the essentiality of forms. The elegant and understated black glass top lends a modern touch, gently contrasting with the warmth of the wood and the shiny reflection of the mirror details. The cabinet rests on two darker wood legs, featuring distinctive porthole details that add a note of originality without compromising the overall harmony. Inside, the large compartment has two wooden shelves, providing enough space to store glasses and bottles discreetly and neatly. The understated elegance of this bar cabinet makes it an ideal piece of furniture for rooms that require a touch of class without sacrificing functionality. Its minimalist essence, while still respecting Italian craft traditions, makes it versatile and perfect for adapting to different types of decor, from classic to more contemporary. Overall condition is very good with a nice patina of time. Present at the rear is a very small chipping in the glass top as highlighted in one of the pictures.
