Burl wood China Lighted Cabinet by Dillingham

About the Item

Large Postmodern burl elmwood cabinet featuring a breakfront with three smoked glass doors containing adjustable shelves inside and three cabinets underneath. There are three recessed lights along the inside of each cabinet. The Large Postmodern Burl Elmwood Cabinet by Dillingham Furniture Manufacturing, circa 1970, is a striking example of high-end American modernism from the late 20th century. Dillingham, known for its sleek, minimalist designs and high-quality craftsmanship, often incorporated exotic wood veneers, clean lines, and innovative lighting features into their work. This particular breakfront cabinet embodies the Postmodern aesthetic with its bold geometric structure, luxurious burl elmwood veneer, and smoked glass elements. The three upper glass doors, fitted with adjustable glass shelving, offer an elegant display area, enhanced by the recessed lighting inside each section, perfect for showcasing collectibles or fine glassware. Below, the three lower cabinets provide ample concealed storage, maintaining the streamlined look. Dillingham Furniture pieces are sought after for their superior construction and stylish blend of modern and organic materials, and this cabinet's illuminated breakfront design makes it a standout piece of 1970s luxury furniture. Dimensions: 80" W x 20" D x 80" H.
